No. Only a Plumbing Contractor licensed in the State of Hawaii can apply for a permit.

2. Can a homeowner request a plumbing inspection?: No. Only the Plumbing Contractor who obtained the permit can call for an inspection.

3. What information would the Plumbing Contractor need from the homeowner to process a permit?: The following information is required:
1. Homeowner's name
2. Physical location of construction
3. Associated building permit number if applicable
4. Tax Map Key(TMK)number of parcel
5. Fixture count

4. Does a lawn sprinkler system require a plumbing permit?: No. A Plumbing permit would only be required for a backflow prevention device installed to service the lawn sprinkler system.
