Kaunoa Senior Services announces November online classes

Kaunoa Senior Services announces its November virtual classes for seniors 55 years of age and older. All classes are available online via Zoom and include:

New classes:

  • Step-by-Step Acrylic Painting “Mauna Kea Snow,” 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesdays, Nov. 16 and 30.
  • Hawaiian Sea Life Watercolor Painting, 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays, Nov. 1-29, except Nov. 8.
  • Introduction to iPad, 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17.
  • Walk It Mondays! 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Mondays, Nov. 7-28.

Wellness and Fitness:

  • Move It Mondays! at 8 a.m. Mondays, Nov. 7 - 28 
  • Stretching at 9 a.m. Tuesdays, Nov. 1 – 29, except Nov. 8
  • Yoga – Level 1 at 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Nov. 1 – 29, except Nov. 8
  • Interval Training at 9 a.m. Wednesdays, Nov. 2 - 30
  • Exercise with Weights and Bands at 11 a.m. Wednesdays, Nov. 2 – 30
  • Low-Impact Aerobics at 9 a.m. Thursdays, Nov. 3 - 17
  • Strength & Conditioning Exercises at 10 a.m. Thursdays, Nov. 3 - 17 
  • Range of Motion Exercises at 11:30 a.m. Thursdays, Nov. 3 - 17 
  • Line Dance Beginners - Improver Level at 12:30 p.m. Mondays, Nov. 7 - 28 
  • Line Dance Intermediate Level at 9 a.m. Thursdays, Nov. 3 - 17 

Arts & Crafts Favorites:

  • Bamboo Watercolor Painting from 10 – 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Nov. 1-15, except Nov. 8
  • Sewing: Christmas Gnomes at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22

Signed waivers are required for all exercise classes. For Zoom, participants will need internet connection, a laptop or desktop computer, smartphone or tablet with built-in microphone, camera and speakers. (Attached speakers may be required depending on your device.)
