The County of Maui Department of Environmental Management announced that Mālama Maui Nui will host its final Go Green Recycling event on Saturday, Oct. 15, in Lahaina. The monthly event is being discontinued because the current location will no longer be available.
On Oct. 15, the appointment-required event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, in the parking lot mauka/behind the Lahaina District Court at 1870 Honoapiilani Highway.

Residents are encouraged to responsibly dispose of the following at no charge: scrap metal, bulky appliances, select electronics, lead acid batteries and vehicle tires (suggested $10 donation per tire).

Go Green Recycling has been hosted by Mālama Maui Nui in partnership with the Rotary Club of Lāhaina Sunset, 5A Rent-A-Space, and the County of Maui - Division of Environmental Protection & Sustainability.
