Maui County Service Center has no phone or internet service following Maui power outage

Following this morning’s Maui island power outage, the Maui County Service Center’s phone and internet services are down, and property tax and utility payments are being accepted by cash or check only. Receipts are being provided manually.

The Division of Motor Vehicles at the Service Center in Kahului is unable to provide service to customers, and they are being asked to reschedule appointments or wait until services are restored. The Lahaina satellite office is closed today because of power-related problems and a staff shortage.

The Pukalani Satellite Office is without as of 9:30 a.m. The office is closed until power is restored, and staff members are on standby.
