Seniors can move and learn on Zoom with Kaunoa Senior Center 

Kaunoa Senior Center offers free fitness and enrichment classes for those 55 years of age and older on the Zoom platform throughout November. Classes include:

Physical Activity

  • Move it Monday: 8 a.m. on Mondays
  • Stretching: 9 a.m. on Tuesdays
  • Yoga: 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays
  • Interval Training: 9 a.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays
  • Strength Training: 11 a.m. on Wednesdays
  • Low-Impact Aerobics: 9 a.m. on Thursdays
  • Strength & Conditioning Exercises: 10 a.m. on Thursdays
  • Range of Motion Exercises: 11:30 a.m. on Thursdays
  • Beginning Tai Chi: 1:30 p.m. on Thursdays
  • Zumba Fitness: 11 a.m. on Fridays

Educational Enrichment 

  • Starting the Conversation about Advance Care Planning and End-of-Life Care: 12 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, November 18
  • Medicaid and the Cost of Long-Term Care: 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 4
  • Guided Relaxation for Caregiver: 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 4
  • Healthy Home Activities for Two: 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 9
  • Sewing-Lily Bowl and Plate: 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 9
  • RSVP Volunteer Opportunity-“Creating a Village”: 11 a.m. on Monday, November 15
  • Introduction to Apple iPhone: 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 16
  • Selecting Interesting Shrubs for your Landscape: 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 18
  • Aloha Friday (Slack key music and vocals) with Kevin Brown and Kevin Kanemoto: 5:30 p.m. on Friday, November 19


Signed waivers are required for all exercise classes.
