The Polo Beach Park parking lot will undergo renovations, including repaving, beginning Oct. 18, the Department of Parks and Recreation announced.
The project will include improved accessibility, drainage, and landscaping improvements. Located at the corner of Kaukahi Street and Makena Road in Wailea, the parking lot will be closed for approximately five months after work begins Monday, Oct. 18. Beach access and the comfort station will remain open throughout the project.
On-street parking will remain open along Kaukahi Street. There is also parking at the Wailea Beach lot.
Members of the public are asked to remain outside of construction areas. The department appreciates the public’s patience and understanding.
