Kihei Division of Motor Vehicle & Licensing reopens

The Kihei Division of Motor Vehicle & Licensing has reopened after the office’s air-conditioning was repaired, the Department of Finance announced.

The Lahaina DMVL office is closed today, June 1, because of staffing constraints. The office will reopen Wednesday, June 2.

The department appreciates the public’s patience and understanding.

As a reminder, DMVL driver’s licensing and other services are available on the first and third Saturdays of the month at the Service Center, located at 110 Ala`ihi St. in Kahului. Customers will be taken by appointment only. Walk-in or stand-by tickets will not be issued. Customers should arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment time.
