Kihei Division of Motor Vehicle & Licensing closed temporarily

The Kihei Division of Motor Vehicle & Licensing is closed until notice because the office’s air-conditioning is not functioning and needs repairs, the Department of Finance announced. 

Repairs are not anticipated until next week. The office will remain closed until further notice.

The department appreciates the public’s patience and understanding.

Walk-in service remains available at Maui DMVL offices in Lahaina and at the Maui County Service Center in Kahului.

As a reminder, DMVL driver’s licensing and other services are available on the first and third Saturdays of the month at the Service Center, located at 110 Ala`ihi St. in Kahului. Customers will be taken by appointment only. Walk-in or stand-by tickets will not be issued. Customers should arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment time.
