Update: Hana Park Basketball and Tennis Courts will remain open during improvement project

The first phase of the Hana Park Basketball and Tennis Courts improvement project will begin on May 3, 2021, with the courts remaining open throughout the project set for completion by Aug. 30, 2021, the Department of Parks and Recreation announced.

However, intermittent closures may be necessary for safety reasons during the project.

The project will include the removal and replacement of the existing sports lighting at the courts. The project’s general contractor is Lite Electric Inc. The contracted construction cost is $405,000.

The department asks the public to please remain outside of construction area for safety precautions and apologizes for any inconvenience.
