Lanai, Hana and Molokai residents to redeem vouchers for holiday gift certificates

This week, Lanai, Hana and Molokai residents who have received assistance through the Hawaii Emergency Laulima Partnership (HELP) program may redeem vouchers, received in the mail, for holiday gift certificates.

Lanai residents may pick up their gift certificates from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, and Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Lanai Council Office, located on Eighth Street in Lanai City. Gift certificates may be used at Richard’s Market and Pine Isle Market.

Hana residents will receive a holiday food box, and they may redeem their vouchers for gift certificates from 1 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the Hana Ball Park. Gift certificates may be used to purchase items at the Hana Ranch Store or Hasegawa General Store.

Molokai residents may redeem their vouchers from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Dec. 17, and Friday, Dec. 18, at the Mitchell Pauole Center conference room. Gift certificates may be used for purchases at Friendly Market, Kualapuu Market and Misaki’s.

The Hawaii Emergency Laulima Partnership program is made possible through a partnership between the County of Maui and Maui Economic Opportunity, Inc. (MEO) to help alleviate impacts of the global pandemic on Maui Nui families.
