Final holiday food box pickup for HELP participants set for Wednesday, Dec. 16

Participants in the Hawai’i Emergency Laulima Partnership (HELP) program will have a final opportunity to collect holiday food boxes from 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at the War Memorial Gymnasium parking lot in Wailuku.

This is not a food distribution event for the general public; participation is limited the HELP recipients who did not redeem their vouchers at regional island pickups on Monday or Tuesday. 

For pickup at the War Memorial Gymnasium parking lot, motorists are asked to turn right only from Kanaloa Avenue onto Halia Nakoa Street. (A left turn is not be permitted from Kanaloa Avenue onto Halia Nakoa Street.)

The HELP program holiday food box distribution is made possible through a partnership between the County of Maui and Maui Economic Opportunity Inc.  For questions, call the Office of the Mayor at 270-7855. (Please do not phone MEO.)
