Responsibilities
The Criminal Investigation Division plays a significant and integral part in the Department’s effort to detain and apprehend offenders who commit crimes. The Department’s Criminal Investigation Division functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Providing support to the line staff and auxiliary elements of the Department
• The investigation of reported and suspected crimes
• The apprehension of criminals
