About the MCBRC
The Maui County Business Resource Center (MCBRC) is an extension project of the County of Maui's Office of Economic Development (OED). The MCBRC serves as an entrepreneurial resource for new or existing business owners who need business assistance for operations within Maui County. The Center was established to improve public access to government resources and increase the reach of non-profit partners that provide business assistance and consultation.
Some of MCBRC's partners include:
County of Maui Office of Economic Development
The Office of Economic Development, an extension of the Mayor's Office, works as partners with the community, other government agencies and businesses to strengthen and diversify the economy. The office of the Small Business Advocate will operate the OED extension at the MCBRC. Interested individuals can receive general business information concerning start-up, licensing, government programs and use of the MCBRC facilities.
MEO Business Development Corporation
MEO Business Development Corporation (BDC) helps low-income entrepreneurs start and expand their businesses through offering education, technical assistance and micro-loan funding to individuals who do not have access to traditional lending.
