Overview
The Felony Screening Division reviews reports from law enforcement agencies and, if felonies are involved, determines what charges to file in court through a complaint, an indictment or an information.

If a complaint is filed, the division handles the preliminary hearing before the District Court. If an indictment is filed, the division handles proceedings before the Grand Jury.
